ParticipantHi David,
Not wishing to cause any offence, but I find this new website very difficult to use compared to the old style one. Looking at the very few comments that have been made, I can only assume that other members feel the same.
I used to particularly enjoy the forum topics in the old one when you could so easily tap on a topic and read all the input..this no longer seems possible. I have belonged to quite a few piano forums in the past that were easy to use, such as Rosa’s,and Elssa’s,but this one is just not visual…I am unable to ‘see’ any forum topics when I log in…so I don’t any more. I know you worked very hard to update and improve the website. But I would love the old one back….sorry! Carole -

KeymasterHi Carole – no offense taken, I appreciate the feedback.
The old forum is still available through the Sudnow.com/sudsarchive site.
I’ve attempted to import the old forums into the new site without much luck so far. I’m still trying to figure out what to do with. I needed to change the user database to do some other things with the new site and much of the technology was just out of date and not supported anymore.
The forum was always sort of hot and cold but I kept all of Suds’ comments and haven’t given up on trying to make it more readily available.
That being said, I’m still hopeful new students will strike up new conversations. But things change. We’ll see.
Any specific changes you’d like to see I’d certainly like to hear. Maybe you can be more specific (an example?) about what seems confusing to you?
Thanks

ParticipantHi David, sorry for the long delay. I think it’s simply that I can’t find the topics as I used to….on reflection I think it’s just that’s it’s early days, so few topics have been posted yet.
Thanks for all you do,
Best wishes,
Carole
